About Una Nutrition Help
First and foremost, I am not your typical nutrition or education person. This means I find it important for you to understand WHY things are the way they are so you can make healthier choices. I do not expect anyone to blindly follow without actual, scientific, and evidence-based reasons.

I hold a variety of degrees and love knowledge. My degrees include Biology, Philosophy and Religious Studies, and Public Administration, and my most recent is in Nutritional Science. I tell you this to emphasize that I truly am education-based. While attending graduate school for a Biology Master's degree, I had to teach labs, and I fell in love with teaching. Helping a student obtain that "ah-ha" moment was, and still is, everything to me. Every ounce of myself wants to help others in any way I can.

The nutrition aspect came about due to my mother. My mother's health had been in decline, and she was diagnosed with stage four kidney disease. I, being a science-based person, began researching this and how to help her kidney health. I researched for a few months and made some changes to her diet, and she was a champ and followed my advice. In under a year, she was in stage three! Her kidney doctor was impressed and stated it was due to her change in diet. This is what led me to pursue the new degree.

I am still a college teacher. I teach at multiple colleges. The courses I teach are: cell biology, organismal biology, Environmental Science, medical terminology, nutrition, political science, learning support English, math, and Science. I share this so you can appreciate I truly am an "educate the individual" kind of person.
I include these images of myself so you can see I "practice what I preach."

I have an inflammatory issue and was in a stressful time (sure - I'll share the details with you if you wish, just not here).

Due to the stress I was living under and the inflammation issue, I was much larger than I wished and hurt.

I graduated with a Master's in Nutritional Science in July 2023. These two images show how much my body changed as I made the nutritional changes I was learning about in my degree program.

Trust me when I say - if I can do it, so can you!
